WESTERN CITIES CONFERENCE: INNOVATE HR
The Western Cities HR Conference brings together senior HR and public-sector leaders for three days of meaningful learning, connection, and practical insight focused on the evolving realities of today’s workplaces. Designed for decision-makers in municipalities and the public sector, the conference explores innovation, leadership, workplace culture, mental health, and the changing role of HR.
The conference begins with an optional Pre-Conference Workshop on Tuesday, October 6: Creating a Human Resource Strategy, led by HR experts Michelle Reid and Heather Gherman. This interactive, hands-on session provides participants with practical tools and frameworks to support strategic HR planning and workplace well-being. Lunch and refreshments are included.
The main conference program runs over two full days (October 7 & 8) and features a keynote presentation each day, along with three concurrent learning streams offering a total of nine breakout sessions per day. This flexible format allows delegates to personalize their experience by selecting sessions that best align with their roles, interests, and organizational priorities.
We are pleased to welcome two outstanding keynote speakers: Lori-Ann Muenzer on Wednesday, October 7, and Julie Develin on Thursday, October 8.
